WHAT IS TICKET2RIDE?

By successfully completing your Ticket2Ride you will be awarded a Certificate II in Hospitality. This Certificate is an entry level qualification recognised nationally, enabling you to seek a job in the hospitality industry.

Get employment in:

  • Restaurants
  • Nightclubs
  • Cafes
  • Hotels and Clubs
  • Cruise ships
  • Bistros
  • Casinos

Here is an example of the units that will be covered:

  • Food Handling (RSF)
  • Follow health, safety and security procedures
  • Follow workplace hygiene procedures
  • Develop and update hospitality industry knowledge
  • Work with colleagues & customers
  • Work in a socially diverse environment
  • Apply hospitality skills in the workplace
  • Clean and tidy bar areas
  • Operate a bar
  • Serve food and beverage to customers
  • Provide responsible service of alcohol
  • Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages
  • Provide table service of alcoholic beverage
  • Prepare and serve espresso coffee
  • Process financial transactions

You will also obtain hands-on experience in pouring a beer, making espresso coffee and providing table service (For Non Schools).
