My hospitality life began before I'd even heard of cappuccinos - delivering baskets of the biggest scones you've ever seen in a local Devonshire tea house. Over the years I have worked in A La Carte restaurants where I learnt about table service and wines, waitressed at functions, worked in bistros and numerous small cafes and for quite a few years in a Gaming Room.
The best thing about working in hospitality is the people. People you work with and the People you meet every day.
I took up training in the hospitality industry because it is an exciting industry and with the right people working in it with the right skills it can only makes it better!
T2R offers the best of all learning worlds. It combines e-learning and books with doing practical sessions in a 'real' hospitality venue! I enjoy working alongside the students individually and in groups passing on my enthusiasm for learning new skills and gaining knowledge for a career in a great industry.
