How long is the course?

As the course is delivered with flexible options, the duration can vary. A typical completion period can range from 8-12 weeks. The course is required to be completed within an 18 month period from enrolment.

  • Follow health, safety and security procedures (SITXOHS001B)
  • Follow workplace hygiene procedures (SITXOHS002A)
  • Develop and update hospitality industry knowledge (SITHIND001A)
  • Work with colleagues & customers (SITXCOM001A)
  • Work in a socially diverse environment (SITXCOM002A)
  • Apply hospitality skills in the workplace (SITHIND002A)

What experience do I need?

To obtain your Ticket2Ride you need no experience at all! You need to be a minimum of 15 years old (as at the 1st January in the year you enrol) and committed to the program. That's it!


Can I get Credit Transfer?

If you have completed prior certificates in Hospitality, chances are, you may be able to use these credits to complete your Ticket2Ride faster. Upon registration you will be contacted and asked the details of any previous qualifications you may have completed. You may need to provide proof of this completion.

Our representative will then determine whether credit transfers can be applied to your Ticket2Ride.


How is the Ticket2Ride course delivered?

The Ticket2Ride program has been designed to make it convenient for you to complete. We all have busy schedules; school and university obligations; work and family commitments. To ensure you can complete the program in the recommended time frame, we have flexible delivery options available. These include online training, face-to-face sessions, phone assistance and sessions where you can practice the skills you've learnt.

The online training can be conducted by simply logging in through this website (hit the 'Login' button on the home page). You will be issued with a user ID and password to allow you access to your on line learning material, forums and assessments.

How do I get my school involved?

If your school is interested in participating in the Ticket2Ride program you can find all the information by clicking on the School's program box at the top of the screen.

Or you can simply email your name along with your school's name to:

and we will make contact with your school on your behalf.
